The Book was set in Kerala, her hometown. Its protagonist was a young CEO who goes to Kerala where his Grandfather lives in a big house in an estate called Neem Tree Place. His grandfather's background isn't mentioned in much detail purposefully - Jyothi wanted to establish the fact that we always go back to our Guru's / Elders to solicit advice when things get tough.
The Book, then, is a series of engagements which the CEO grandson has with his grandfather and gently the grandfather guides the Grandson to a level of knowledge which are solutions that the young CEO came looking for.
Penguin India published the book. It was sold out and established Jyothi as a Thinking / Feeling Human Relationship Professional and virtually launched her career.
Jyothi Menon's book launches are a Page Three Event and it was attended by several wellknown professionals, academics and her family and friends. The book launch was a philosophy of her belief that good things must be celebrated.
