Jyo as she is popularly called - is an engineer who turned to Human Relations because of her passion for people. She has been in the realm of HR for 15 years. She has held various leadership roles in Talent Management & Development, Employee Relations and Retention, Performance Management, Rewards & Recognition, Compliance and Compensation & Benefits.
In her last assignment, Jyothi was heading HR for the Aditya Birla Group Co. Transworks, based out of Bangalore. Prior to Transworks, Jyothi's last assignment was with Lason India as Vice President - People Practice - responsible for HR, Admin and PR. She was heading up HR and Admin for Computer Associates in India prior to Lason. Jyothi has also worked with HTC, Mastech and AGCO. |

Jyothi's first book "The power of Human Relations" was published by Pearson in June 2004 and had the foreword written by Mr.Kiran Karnik, President Nasscom. The book was officially launched by Mr.Subroto Mazumdar, President Pearson and Mr. Vivek Harinarain, IT Secretary for Tamilnadu. It found an avid reader in the Honorable President of India, Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam,among others.
Impressed by a statement in the book on "creating a brand of an organization", the President sent Jyothi a note, providing the inspiration for her second book. Aptly named Brand-Wise, it was published by East West Publications and launched by Dr. Vijay Govindarajan, the internationally acclaimed guru of Global Strategies from the Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth, USA at a 'Global BPO Vision and Book Launch' function, in Chennai on 12th January. The foreword has been written by Mr. Vivek Harinarain, IT Secretary, State of Tamil Nadu.
Jyothi co authored her third book ME, a Winner in March 2006 with her husband Bobby. This book was launched by Mr. Dayanidhi Maran - ex Union Minister of Communications and IT.
Jyothi has a knack of producing books that satisfy a wide spectrum of audience and she proved it yet again. This time, with her first fiction and her 5th book named The Angel of God, published by Pustak Mahal and sold by Landmark Ltd. The book was launched by Ranjini Manian, CEO, Global Adjustments. |
